The mission of the Office of Intercultural Programs is to enhance the visibility and awareness of diversity at Buena Vista University while attracting high school students and serving as a resource for transitional issues essential to college.

We demonstrate leadership, creativity, and vision in supporting the continuing development of intercultural affairs. We support cultural sensitivity, respect, and understanding of diverse populations. We also provide educational programs that address the campus climate, cultural awareness, service, and career learning.

The Office of Intercultural Programs does not tolerate acts of oppression, discrimination, prejudice, stereotyping, or racism.
