The food plans at BVU provide students with all-you-can-eat options. Students on the Marquis Plan may visit the servery anytime from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Monday - Friday Marquis Hours:

7 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. & 4:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday Marquis hours:

During the academic year, the servery is open when residence halls are open to all students. For more information on serving dates and times, contact Sodexho Food Service.

For lighter eaters, the smaller meal plans allow a fewer number of meals. The 14-meal and 10-meal plans are all-you-can-eat, but with limited hours. All meals are provided on a weekly basis. Each plan week runs Monday - Sunday. They do not carry over.

Please note that in order to use your Marquis Meal Plan or Cent Room Bucks, you must present your Buena Vista University ID to the cashier.

Commuters, faculty, and staff may purchase points and/or meal plans.

If dissatisfied with the food plan he/she has chosen, a student may change to a different plan on or before Sept. 30. Only one change is allowed during each academic year. Exceptions to this policy must be approved by the dean of students.

Centennial Room:

During late night hours, food may be purchased in the Centennial Room. Students may pay cash or use the Cent Room Bucks that are included with each meal plan (25 for each semester). Additional Bucks can be purchased at the Business Office for $1 per Buck (price subject to change). Bucks can be carried over from semester to semester, but not between academic years.

Weekend Guest Meal Passes:

Students may purchase Weekend Guest Meal Passes in advance from the Sodexho Office for $6. These meal passes are good for five meals - Friday dinner through Sunday dinner. If a Weekend Guest Pass is used for a Marquis Brunch, there will be an additional charge at the door.
