Sometimes you have a great idea you would like to incorporate into your class, but are not sure the best way to proceed. The TLTC is a great place to discuss your ideas to determine strategies and methods that will benefit your class and identify which technology (if that is the best solution) will meet your needs.
We in the TLTC are happy to offer technological or instructional development services on a drop-in basis or by appointment. The Student Technology Assistants are thoroughly trained in the latest instructional technologies and can help you with simple "how to" questions as well as offer suggestions for the best way to utilize the resources available. Instructional development consulting is also available with the Director and Associate Director of the TLTC. If you have any questions, or just want to brainstorm, we are here to help!
If you would like to develop an instructional application that is beyond the scope of your technological skills, the TLTC is willing to help determine the best course of action, and develop the project for you. Because of limited staff time projects we are willing to help develop should serve an instructional purpose or meet an academic need. We are also willing to train you or your Academic Assistants to complete certain tasks. Projects need to be discussed, agreed upon, and scheduled in advance, so please contact Matt Wagner to discuss project development.
