- Make sure that the projector is turned on.
- Double-check that your laptop is properly docked into the docking station or that the VGA cable is completely plugged in.
- Cycle through the display modes (laptop only, laptop and projector, projector only) with your laptop
- Gateway 450: Press the Fn + F3 keys on your keyboard.
- Gateway 465: Press the Fn + F4 keys on your keyboard.
- Make sure the projector is on the correct input.
- Make sure the picture mute is not turned on (there will be a button on the remote).
- If the project is still not recognizing your laptop, right–click on the Desktop and select Graphic Options, Output To, Intel(R) Dual Display Clone, and then Notebook + Monitor.
- View the Epson Wireless projector guide.
- Make sure the remote is turned on.
- Point the mouse at the projector when pushing the buttons. You can also point the mouse toward the screen, so the signal will bounce off the screen to the sensors on the projector.
- Press the button for the laser pointer (if it has one) and check the laser. If the laser works, it verifies that the remote's batteries are good.
- Try turning all the lights off and then using the remotes. Sometimes the frequency of the lights interferes with the projector's ability to detect the remote.
- Plug the necessary cables into your laptop. Please be careful when plugging in the cables to avoid bending the prongs.

- Make sure your computer is properly hooked up to the projector and that the projector is turned on.
- Make sure the projector is on the correct input and your laptop is projecting.
- Change the Video Display Settings so the video plays on the projector screen, but not on your laptop.
- Right-click on your My Computer folder and select Properties.
- Go to the Hardware tab and click on the Device Manager button.
- Right-click on any item in the list and select Scan for hardware changes.
