He attended Union Community High School where he played basketball, baseball, cross country, and tennis. He was also a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, and President of his class.
This is his third year playing tennis at Buena Vista, and first as the Team Captain. He played #1/#2 singles and #1 doubles (with Jeff Shinrock) his sophomore year, and #3 singles, #1 doubles (Shinrock) his freshman year. He has led the team in victories the past two season’s. Other activities Aaron’s been involved in are the Student Activities Board, Grand Hall Council, SAAC, Intramurals, and KBVU.
He’s the son of Bruce and Karen Wigg, with one brother (Brian), and two sisters (Catherine, Dana). He enjoys hanging out with friends, listening to music, and socializing in his free time. His favorite athlete is John McEnroe, and he’d most like to meet the cast of “Scrubs”.
Aaron loves the friendly attitude of everyone at Buena Vista, and the relationships with professors. Something interesting is that he was Buford the Beaver.
