Baseball Team Sees IIAC Tournament Bid Come up Short
The Buena Vista baseball team saw its season officially come to an end as Central College fought back in game two of its doubleheader against Dubuque on Sunday afternoon and win 9-6. With the win, the Dutch clinch the sixth and final spot into this year's Iowa Conference baseball tournament with BVU finishing just percentage points behind the Dutch in seventh.

Beavers Score 27 Runs in Win over Loras
Brandon Pietrzyk went 2-for-5 with a pair of home runs and six RBI, Brad Blum finished 4-for-5 with a home run, six RBI, and four runs scored, as the Buena Vista baseball team cruised to a 27-3 win over Loras College (18-21, 11-12 IIAC) to close out the series, as well as the regular season, on Sunday afternoon.

The Buena Vista baseball team dropped a pair of tough contests to Loras College on Saturday afternoon, 4-0 and 8-3.
