Thank you for taking the time to check out Buena Vista University and our women’s soccer program! As we enter our second decade of intercollegiate soccer here at BVU, there is a lot of excitement in our program. I was honored to be named the new head coach two years ago and I am looking forward to a great year for our team in 2008! We expect to make an impact this year in the Iowa Conference and the team is well on its way to doing that already.
The women’s team at Buena Vista has been making steady improvements over the past few years. Our 2005 team broke school records for wins, goals, points, and assists and posted the program’s best finish ever in the conference. We consistently play a strong non-conference schedule which allows our players to challenge themselves every week.
This is an exciting time for BVU women’s soccer. Our returning players are working hard; there is a sense of anticipation and potential for next season and they want to take advantage of it. We need a few talented, motivated newcomers to help us get to the next level. Will you be one of them? As you begin making the decision of where to attend college and continue your playing career, take a good look at Buena Vista University. You will be happy that you did.
