Thank you for your interest in Buena Vista University Softball. Our program has a strong reputation in one of the premier conferences in Division III softball. We keep this tradition alive by recruiting motivated student-athletes who know how to win on and off the field.
Although we want you to excel on the playing field, you must also have high expectations for yourself academically. Our team takes pride in achieving a high team GPA each year. We also place a great deal of emphasis upon the values of integrity, teamwork, sportsmanship, and self-discipline.

- Entering 28th season managing Buena Vista
- Ranks seventh in victories among active coaches in Division III with a record of 561-421-2 overall
- Earned Iowa Conference Coach of the Year and Region Coach of the Year honors four times
- Honored as the National Coach of the Year in 1984 and 1996
- Named a Sports Ethics Fellow in 2005 by the NCAA
- Served on several softball committees throughout her tenure at BVU including the NFCA All-American Committee, Chair of the NCAA West Region Ranking Committee, Chair of the Coaches National Ranking Poll, Chair of the Hall of Fame Committee, NCAA Championship Committee
