Buena Vista University commissioned watercolor artist Doug Lien to create a collage highlighting the first 100 seasons of football at BV. The completed work was unveiled during Hall of Fame Weekend on Sept. 17, 2005. Individualized numbered and autographed 18" x 24" prints of the painting are available for purchase for $30. The limited edition prints will remain on sale throughtout the season while supplies last.

The season-long celebration of 100 football seasons at Buena Vista was highlighted during Homecoming weekend on Oct. 7-9, 2005. Former Buena Vista football players were recognized at a special halftime ceremony during the Homecoming game against Coe College.

	The BVU Athletics Hall of Fame Room

On Sept. 17, Buena Vista University dedicated the Athletics Hall of Fame Room. The room honors past athletic greatness at BVU and is located in Siebens Fieldhouse Room 114. The Hall of Fame Room serves as a multipurpose location that celebrates Buena Vista athletic achievements and hosts a receptions and gatherings.

The hall outside of the room on the north side of Siebens Fieldhouse honors the ninety-four former athletes and coaches who have been inducted into the school's Athletics Hall of Fame since 1969. Each inductee is featured on a plaque with an etching of their likeness, a listing of sports participated in, and year of graduation.

The actual hall of fame room displays memorabilia which highlights the school’s athletic accomplishments. A new glass trophy case stands in the northeast corner of the room. The room includes a conference area for meetings as well as amenities for small receptions. Various pieces of Buena Vista sports memorabilia are on display and will rotate throughout the school year.

The room is open to all alumni and friends of the University on various occasions, including Hall of Fame Weekend and Homecoming Weekend.
