Camps & Clinics
The Buena Vista University Athletics Department hosts a number of sports specific camps and clinics throughout the year. Buena Vista's outstanding facilities and experienced staff members provide a tremendous atmosphere for young athletes to improve upon their skills.
Girls Basketball Camp
The Buena Vista University women's basketball team will be holding its Summer Girls Basketball Camp on June 9-10, 2008. The staff at the camp will consist of the Buena Vista coaching staff and current players. The camp is for girls who will be in grades 5 through 12 next fall.
The Buena Vista Girls Basketball Camp introduces fundamentals to inexperienced players and allow those more experienced to improve the necessary skills. Each camper will receive a T-shirt for attending, and there will also be prizes for contest winners and awards given for outstanding campers in different categories.

Beaver Wrestling Camp
The Beaver Wrestling Competition/Technique Camp will be held on June 19-22, 2008. The camp is open to students entering grades 7 through 12.
The camp is designed for wresters to build technical skills as well as gain essential mat time through dual competition. Our staff will be working with your wresters during the dual competitions to help them prepare mentally and physically for maximum performance on the mat.

Football Camps
The Buena Vista University football team will be holding two football camps this summer. The youth camp, for students entering Grades 3-8, whill be held July 21-23, 2008. The padded camp, for students entering Grades 9-12, will be held July 27-30, 2008.
The padded camp will focus on the development of the total athlete, both offensively and defensively. Plus, athletes learn the fundamentals that will make them outstanding football players on their team. The youth camp also allows each camper to participate in football games under the supervision of the Buena Vista University staff.
Camp cost is $200 per resident camper and $150 per commuter camper, with a $5 discount per camper in the same family. Fee covers all instruction, insurance and camp t-shirt.
