Homecoming 2008

Mark your calendars!

BVU Homecoming 2008 has been scheduled for the weekend of October 3-5.

Homecoming 2008 will kickoff with a wings/nacho feed at Puff's on Friday evening. Various new and exciting changes have been added to this year's homecoming schedule. Children, BVU students as well and adults, can enjoy a carnival of activities on the South Forum Lawn before the football game such as the bouncy house, funny photos, a velcro wall and more.

The classes of 1968, 1983, 1998, 2003, and 2008 will celebrate reunions on campus that weekend. BVU graduates from the class of 1958 will be inducted into the Cornerstone Guard joined by the classes of 1948 and 1938 who will be celebrating their 60 and 70 year reunions.

A reunion of the 1968 BVU baseball team members is being planned with the help of Joseph Ascolese SL'70 and Giles Struck SL'70. This team won the District and Regional games to go on and play in the NAIA College World Series in St. Joe, MO. A reunion for all Art and Social Science alumni is also being planned for the weekend in celebration of the new Social Science and Art Hall that will open for classes in the fall of 2008. The Boot Hill Bowl football team is planning a reunion with the assistance of Dennis Fay SL'77, Keith Kerkhoff SL'77, and Steve Trost SL'77. M.O.V.E will also be on the reunion list. Please watch your mail for further details.

Come join the celebrations!

If you would like to serve on your class reunion committee, please email Diann Peterson, Assistant Director of Alumni Programming at petersond@bvu.edu or call the alumni office at 712.749.2101.
