Buena Vista University has always been recognized as a friendly, welcoming campus. Yet not long after they arrive, students are encouraged to pack their bags and get out – into the world, that is!

Domestic and international travel programs have been an important part of the educational experience for Buena Vista University students for decades. Even many years after they have graduated, alumni recall memories of those trips as some of the best times they had as students. Behind the Scenes

Since 1994, it has become a tradition for the William W. Siebens American Heritage Lecture Series speakers to take the "hot seat" as a panel of six to eight students asks questions of them in a conversational format for an audience of BVU students, faculty and staff in an afternoon session prior to the evening lecture.
