Condensed Syllabi

The condensed syllabi contain the core features that are required of teacher preparation courses throughout the Buena Vista University system. Specifically, Storm Lake faculty in conjunction with off-campus adjuncts, has agreed that the following must be common to all teacher preparation syllabi:

  • Course description

  • Portfolio assignments

The full assignment and rubric are provided online at the Course Syllabi and Portfolio webpage. The choice of textbook, chronology of the course, teaching style and regular assignments are at the professional judgment of the instructor. Faculty desiring to see the full syllabus can find it online.
