The Teacher Education Program Materials Site gives Buena Vista University students and faculty access to materials that provide a common understanding for our performance-based system of teacher education.

The Web Site provides a brief overview of the guiding framework for the performance-based teacher education program and provides the checkpoints through which a student must move successfully in order to complete our teacher education program.

The common features of the program are integrated around the guiding framework. Students demonstrate completion of the required competencies of the program through a portfolio. The courses and the portfolio assignments and grading rubrics are on the Web Site.

The Web Site also provides copies of the policy manuals and field experiences handbooks that govern the teacher education program.
