Organizations

Buena Vista Athletic Trainers Society (BVATS)
BVATS' purpose is to provide student trainers with educational opportunities - outside the classroom activities - that enhance the quality and standards of care provided by student trainers to athletes.  We encourage student trainers to see non-traditional ideas of sports medicine and address ethical standards.

Student Council for Exceptional Children (SCEC)
SCEC is an organization that strives to promote the welfare and education of exceptional children, youths and adults.  SCEC has been involved in bringing various Special Olympic events to the University campus.

Teachers, Incorporated (Teachers Inc.)
Teachers, Inc. is an organization that promotes and explores new opportunities and experiences in the field of education.  Teachers, Inc. is open to all BVU students and is especially encouraged for education majors.  Teachers, Inc. assists in various activities such as Career Day and hosting guest speakers.

Kappa Delta Pi
Is an international honor society in education. It is dedicated to enhancing the growth of educators and serving the BVU and Storm Lake communities. This professional organization works with area schools and children through partnerships. Education majors who meet the membership requirements are invited to become members of Kappa Delta Pi.
