FACES
Have a story worth sharing? Submit it to FACES, BVU's own student-run arts and literary magazine! Published annually, FACES features some of BVU's best talent in the areas of fine art, photography, short fiction, and poetry. But if you want your work(s) to reach the campus-wide audience, don't procrastinate; submission deadlines will be coming up soon. So, submit you poetry and/or short fiction (500-1750 words) via email to silvang@bvu.edu before March 15, 2005. Any questions? Contact Angela Silvey, this year's FACES Co-Editor, at the same address. Marjorie Holmes Literary Scholarship
Attention English Majors! Apply for the Marjorie Holmes Literary Scholarship! The portfolio deadline is Friday, March 2nd. Applicants should submit representative samples of their written work, including at least one research paper. The portfolio should represent your best work in multiple genres and should open with a reflective letter of introduction. Awards will be made to eligible juniors, sophomores, and first year students who have at least a 3.4 GPA and will be received in the form of financial aid for the 2007-08 academic year. Submit portfolios to Chase Wu, Secretary of the School of Communication & Arts, in DE 208 by Friday, March 3, 2007. Questions? Contact any member of the BVU English faculty.
