For undecided business students and all levels of accounting majors, the club
extends learning outside the classroom through educational and social
activities. The Accounting Club provides the opportunity for students to
interact with other students who have the common interest of accounting. One
program offered is Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA). The Accounting Club
also plays a crucial role in the recruitment process for senior accounting
majors.
BVMA allows students a chance to apply their communication and leadership skills
through fundraising activities, speakers, business tours, and various
marketing-related projects. Any major is welcome to join. Our members must also
become members of the American Marketing Association.
This club allows students to be in touch with the business world. Students are
encouraged to participate in activities such as roundtables with local and
regional business leaders; trips to places such as Minneapolis, Chicago, and
Kansas City; community service events with Methodist Manor in Storm Lake; and
many other events. All business majors and business education majors can benefit
from this club. Anyone interested is welcome.
ACM promotes awareness of the computer facilities and information services
available to the BVU community. ACM is open to all majors at BVU.
Many of the 50-plus campus organizations are associated with particular majors and provide a variety of activities and experiences related to career fields. A complete listing of student organizations is available at the Geisinger Student Leadership Center.
